The Idea
The MIC Podcast is the official podcast of the Mannheim Investment Club e. V., one of the largest student initiatives at the University of Mannheim. It started in 2023, and since then more than 65 episodes have been released with guests from banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, politics & academia.

GENERATION 4
2026
CURRENT TEAM
Host
Henrik Haep
Henrik joined the MIC podcast in 2026 and is responsible for the areas of consulting, corporates and sport. He is particularly interested in technical topics around DAX companies, aerospace, engineering and medicine, bringing a strong technical and practical perspective to the podcast.
Host
Allegra Klein
Allegra joined the podcast team of the Mannheim Investment Club in September 2026 and studies Business Administration at the University of Mannheim. She focuses on banking and on decision-makers in European financial policy. Another focus is on women in leadership positions in the financial industry.
Marketing
Karl Riecke
Karl has been a member of MIC's marketing team since 2026, where he is specifically responsible for the podcast. He makes sure new guests get noticed and manages how the podcast presents itself publicly. In this role, he connects the work of the podcast team with the club's communications.

Head of Podcast
Hannes Schmeling
Hannes has been Head of Podcast at the MIC since April 2026. He leads the team, assigns roles from guest acquisition to production and sets the editorial direction of the podcast. He studies Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and is particularly interested in strategy and consulting.

2024 – 2025
Head of Podcast
Julian Kohl
Julian joined MIC's podcast team in 2024 and led it as Head of Podcast from 2025 to 2026, overseeing everything. As a host, he focuses on leaders in banking, private equity and consulting and took the podcast beyond Germany, recording several episodes in New York. He studies Business Administration at the University of Mannheim.

Lisa Liu
Lisa has been a host in the podcast team of the Mannheim Investment Club since October 2024 and previously led the team. Alongside hosting and producing episodes, she contributes her experience to the team's strategic development. Her focus is on conversations with guests from venture capital and the start-up scene.

Founder
Marc Etienne Sellen
Marc founded the podcast team of the Mannheim Investment Club in 2023. He was a podcast host from 2023 to 2026, focusing mainly on Venture Capital & Private Equity. After completing his bachelor's degree in Mannheim, he is currently studying Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Heidelberg.
Founder & Honorary Member
Moritz Weber–Schön
Moritz founded the podcast team of the Mannheim Investment Club in 2023 and led it in 2023 and 2024. Today, he supports the team as an alumnus in an advisory role. He focuses mainly on guests from banking. After completing his bachelor's degree in Mannheim, he is currently studying at the London School of Economics
